The Kitty Crib is an affordable, family-friendly nonprofit cat lounge and café where you can sip, study, and snuggle alongside adoptable rescue cats. More than just a hangout, it's a warm and welcoming space designed to feel like home—for both humans and cats.
With comfy couches, playful feline friends, and a complimentary coffee and hot chocolate bar, The Kitty Crib is the ideal spot to catch up with friends, de-stress after a long day, or settle in for a study session. Perfect for kids of all ages as well as adults, every visit offers the chance to connect with adoptable cats while directly supporting their care and future.

To keep the space calm and comfortable for everyone, especially our cats, reservations are required on weekends from August through May. Walk-ins may be accepted during slower times, but booking ahead is the best way to guarantee your spot and ensure a smooth visit!

About Us
The Kitty Crib is an affordable, nonprofit cat lounge & café operated by Moore's Rescue Ranch, an animal rescue located on a family farm in Champaign, IL. Founded by Kim Dalluge, the ranch was created to rescue and rehome animals at the greatest risk—those with disabilities, on euthanasia lists, or in overcrowded shelters.
We opened The Kitty Crib to give these cats a calm, cage-free space to recover and thrive while they wait for loving homes. It's also a unique, affordable place where community members can de-stress, study, or simply enjoy the company of cats in a quiet, welcoming environment.
All funds raised through visits help cover vetting, food, supplies, and support our mission to expand rescue efforts. Future plans include building a dog facility and launching animal-assisted therapy programs.
